The Cypress Winds Clarinet Quartet seeks to explore diverse musical styles and programming of contemporary and standard works to expand the repertoire for the clarinet quartet. We are an all senior female ensemble with a goal of promoting the clarinet quartet to enlighten audiences and achieve recognition as a viable alternative to the string quartet. As a senior ensemble, we also focus on bringing music to the seniors of our community.

Sheila sadly passed away in November 2020. Not only was she an outstanding musician but she was a supportive and caring person.
Her vision included enriching the musical landscape of Houston and surrounding areas and bringing music to young and old. Cypress Winds will continue to move forward with that vision.
